Beautiful weekend with clear skies and sharp frosts. Autumn can be smelt in the air in the walks around the cottage..
Stags can be heard rutting in this distance and the geese continue to fly south overhead; the salmon fishing season has wound down on the Kyle of Sutherland.
Its a good Autumn so far.
